There are two ways to add a greeting for the Auto Attendant. You can upload an already recorded sound file or record it on the go by calling the Auto Attendant's number or extension and pressing *5 followed by PIN when prompted from any device or cellphone.
“Hey, there! This is [your name]. Please leave me a message with your name, number, and the reason you’re calling. If you also tell me [insert random fact] I’ll be sure to move you to the top of my call list. Have a great day!”

When you have new voicemail, the Phone tab in the Skype for Business main window displays the number of your messages. Expand your opening to with 'Thank you for calling [insert company/individual name]' or 'You've reached the voicemail of [insert company/individual name]'. This personal touch goes a long way towards building a rapport even when you're not available to answer the call directly.
