You may think your voicemail message is professional. But when you listen back it could sound rushed or shaky. Listen to it regularly to see if changes are needed.
Record up to 10 voicemail greetings and select the one that you want callers to hear. Record a new greeting. When you use the Google Voice app, you can record a greeting up to 3 minutes long. If you use Safari to record the greeting, it can only be one minute long. If you don't record a new greeting, callers hear the default greeting.

We’ve all been there…You call a company’s customer support line, only to be met with a confusing and deadpan auto attendant message that doesn’t have the selection you’re looking for. What’s worse, you press 0 and it doesn’t take you to an operator, but repeats the main message again!
To set the Voicemail notifications, navigate to HostPilot: Services > Unite > Auto Attendant > click on Auto Attendant Name > Settings > Voicemail settings >Enter the Email for voicemail. There, you can also upload a new greeting for your Auto Attendant voicemail, change the Voicemail PIN and adjust notification settings.
Don’t be too hard on yourself. Chances are, that voicemail that you’ve recorded and deleted thirty times has been just fine. Your main goal is not to get in the way of the caller leaving a message, which is exactly what can happen if you overthink it or drone on too long.

For example, callers shouldn’t reach a business-as-usual voicemail, and therefore expect a return call within the business day, if the subject they’re calling is out on vacation for two weeks. Such a lack of communication is a recipe to lose that caller’s trust and tarnish the brand’s reputation.
Another great thing you can do in your voicemail messages is to leave a few spaces for your prospects to record their message, most of the prospects will do it because they know they will be reached out sooner given the situation of their need.

Then the main Dial by Name greeting repeats: When some submenu is created for a certain button you can use the Route to option of this sub-menu to route it to any other button. This submenu can be edited just when it was created. If the action for the button where the sub-menu was created was changed, another appearance of this submenu becomes editable. If you set up a submenu for some button (e.g. 1) and later you decided to move it to another button (e.g. 2): Set the button 2 to route to the submenu Clear or change action for button 1 Create Sub-Menu: user will hear the Sub-menu greeting (if it is set) and will be able to navigate through a set of options by pressing keys on a touchtone phone. Click Auto Attendant and then select the auto attendant to edit from the list.
A general voicemail greeting is what callers will be greeted with if you are unable to answer the phone at work. It is the everyday greeting, used as the default, unless you have set up a temporary greeting, such as an away message while you're on vacation, or a special message during a holiday.
If you will have agents in multiple queues, and would like them to be able to identify which queue the call is coming from, you can set Caller ID Prefix to a short text string which will show on the receiving handset as part of the Caller ID. For example, if this is set to SUP and a call is received from 0712345678, the handset's caller ID will show SUP 0712345678. In the Queue Timeout field, select the maximum amount of time a caller can be in the queue before they are sent to the mobile overflow.
Doing this gives your prospects the assurity that you will follow up with them which makes them drop in their contact details for you to reach out to them.
