You can enable or disable a greeting using the radio buttons at the top of the pane. The standard greeting cannot be disabled, however, the alternate greeting can be enabled in its place. Choose your own recording or use the system default.

Make sure you keep your promises too. If you want to specify a time (which you should) ensure you get back to the customer within the timeframe.
To activate the disabled menu, follow the same procedure described above and click Enable.
If you’re less than satisfied in your current phone system voicemail greetings, there is probably a decent reason why. We only employ professional voice talents because we want you provide you a highly effective and high quality recording.

While missed calls aren’t ideal, you can let your caller know you’re still there for them by having a great voicemail greeting. The best business voicemail greetings let your customers (and potential customers) know why you’re not available and how they can best get in contact with your business. They are also short and to the point. You usually want to keep your greeting between 6 and 24 seconds long so callers don’t hang up halfway through.
Auto-attendants with a customized holiday greeting can be a festive way to mark the occasion. If you have a retail business, create a holiday greeting to inform customers of any limited-time sales you are offering. If your office is closed for the holiday, be sure you state this in your message.

Lines can often get busy for companies that have several representatives. This reassures clients that someone will get back to them once they are free.
To use a different greeting you already recorded or switch back to the default greeting: On your Android device, open the Voice app . At the top left, tap Menu Settings. In the Voicemail section, tap Voicemail greeting. Next to the greeting you want to use, tap More Set as active.
