Do keep in mind that anything out of the ordinary, or too long will eventually grate on the person listening. My sister recorded a message similar to the one on the film Terminator, where the message says "Hello" and then pauses so that the person on the other end thinks that they are talking to a real person, before revealing that it was a trick.
Even in today's fast-paced world, customers don't like being greeted with an automated message. According to the New York Times, callers of a certain age are put off entirely if they are answered by a voicemail instead of a real person.
You can set the greeting tone as per your own choice, which would be much interesting. Sometimes we get to hear boring voicemail messages which are not inviting at all to leave behind a message. You can enable or disable a greeting using the radio buttons at the top of the pane. The standard greeting cannot be disabled, however, the alternate greeting can be enabled in its place. Choose your own recording or use the system default.
