17. “Happy Holidays from [company name]. Our hours are a little bit different this holiday season. [List hours]. We hope it’s not an emergency, but if so, we’ve got you covered. Contact us at [company email/other support lines] and we’ll get back to you ASAP. For all other inquiries, we’ll contact you when we are back from the holiday – we might be a few pounds heavier but eager to speak with you! 9. Update Your Greeting Frequently. Many of the things that can make your voicemail great, also require that you update it pretty regularly. Information like deals you’re running, when you’re away, and who to contact while you’re out can take your greeting to the next level, but they’re obviously time sensitive.
Why not also direct the caller towards your website for the time being? This enables them to find out more about your business, products and services while they wait until they can call you back.
The pet care service providers get calls from pet owners at odd hours or when they are busy attending to their chores. So, resorting to voicemail services is necessary for such businesses. Below is an excerpt from a voicemail for a pet service entity:
2. General Voicemail Forwarding. Thank you for calling [Company Name]. We’re sorry—it seems you’ve called outside of our regular business hours, which are 8:00 a.m.
Make sure to keep your voicemail greeting fresh and new. In fact, updating your voicemail regularly will ensure that people actually listen to your message. Anytime you are on vacation, at a conference or other industry-related event, change your greeting to reflect where you are at.
3. Answering Services Script. Thank you for calling [Company Name]. If you hear this message, you are calling outside regular business hours, which are 8:00 a.m.
This greeting is heard by a caller once they are forwarded to a voice mailbox. Press the up or down navigation buttons to select Play or Re-Record and then press Enter. Press Enter to stop playback or recording.
For Calls To, select a number or alternative number from the drop-down so that calls are forwarded when a call is received to this number in your organization that you define. 13

In the side panel, under Business Hours Auto Attendant click Schedule.
24.Hello, you’ve called [X company]. We are currently unable to take your call. Please visit our company website at [company website URL] to speak to chat with a representative, or email us at [X email address]. If you’d like us to call you back, please leave your name and phone number, and our team will get in touch with you within 24 hours.
