The following options allow your UB voicemail to have a custom greeting for callers who reach your voicemail, or a temporary greeting you can set when away.
An out-of-office message is an automatic email sent by an email account that is temporarily not being checked by its owner. Every new email to this account will trigger the out-of-office message, which is sent directly to the original email’s sender. Most email service providers allow you to activate this option and customize your message.
Instead of having the typical “You’ve reached ABA Corporation. Please leave your message after the beep”, make it unique and interesting.
Note: if one Auto Attendat's timeout is set to route calls to another Auto Attendant which has a Receptionist group enabled, the call wouldn't ring to this Receptionist group and will go to the active Menu of the second Auto Attendant instead.
Don’t be too hard on yourself. Chances are, that voicemail that you’ve recorded and deleted thirty times has been just fine. Your main goal is not to get in the way of the caller leaving a message, which is exactly what can happen if you overthink it or drone on too long.
Firstly your callers can be introduced to your business. This instantly lets them know they’ve called the right place. You can then follow this up by letting them know your opening hours. When you have verified that Voicemails Forever has recorded the voicemails successfully then you may delete the voicemails from your carrier voicemail box.
