We can assure you that if you aren’t leaving a message, then your prospect won’t know who you are, why you called, or what you have to offer them. And we could be wrong, but if you plan to make a sale, you probably need to talk to your customer.

As such, impersonalization can cause ambiguity, which again can hurt the effectiveness of your voice message system. This doesn’t mean you have to make an elaborate greeting if you don’t want to, just insert your voice and name so at least callers know they’re calling the right person.
