Invite the caller to leave a detailed message. If there is certain information you need, make sure to include that information here.

Always leave a message. If you can inquire as to an email address for your adjuster, I would suggest sending an email. Don’t leave vague messages; leave your name, your claim number, telephone number and the best time to call you back. Be specific as to why you are calling. Follow with an email.
4. Funny Voicemail Greetings. Hi, you’ve reached [your name] at [X company]. We are busy trying to save the world by [what your company does best]. If you want to learn more about how we do it, please leave us your name and phone number, and we will get back to you as soon as our mission is complete— which should be fairly soon.

2. Settle on a Name You Want to Use as Your Email Username. Now that you have a email service provider, you should quickly focus on settling over 2 or 3 of your desired usernames.
-This is you-know who. We are you-know-where. Leave your you-know-what you-know-when.

Many people expect adjusters to call them back same day and get very put off by repeatedly getting a voicemail. Multiple calls and voicemails aren't going to make an adjuster more eager to call you back either. If your adjusters’ response isn’t as quick as you’d like, understand that they probably just have on their plate.
For those with voicemail greetings that get changed about as often as a new president is elected, know that this is doing a serious disservice to the caller-recipient relationship. It signals to callers that the business is anything but an authority, most likely not very detail oriented, and has questionable overall credibility and competency.

4. Keep your after hours voicemail greetings current. If your business will be closed during its normal operating days for a holiday or is dealing with some type of emergency situation you will want to update your after-hours announcement.
