Don’t include the date unless it’s completely necessary. 16 of the messages I heard last month had the wrong date—one of the messages had a date over 2 months old!

Hello. You’ve reached the offices of [Business Name]. At present, our office is closed for repairs. However, you may reach us at our temporary location, at 555-555-3432. There, we will be able to pick up your call, 9 to 5, Monday through Friday. Thank you.
3. Communicate with non-English speaking customers. Most claim adjusters are not multi-lingual, and many insureds don’t speak English, which can lead to frustrating experiences.
What voice do you want to convey when speaking with customers? This may be professional, casual, or even humorous.
Have you ever stopped to hear the following, ‘’Hi, this is [your name] of [your business]. I’m currently unable to take your call. Please leave your name, phone number, and a brief message, and I will contact you as soon as possible. Thanks.
Your call is important to us and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Please leave your full name, contact details, phone number, and availability after the beep and we will call you back straight away. Thank you!”
As you read through these, keep in mind that the effectiveness of your voicemail greeting is one-quarter what you say, and three-quarters how you say it. Be cheery and warm, but professional. Before you record your professional voicemail message, take a quick peek through these examples for some inspiration: Example 1: Thank you for calling.
When you have new voicemail, the Phone tab in the Skype for Business main window displays the number of your messages.
