If you do not want to use your voicemail and would like to turn it off, please contact us to remove the service from your number. At this time, there is no self-service option for turning off voicemail.

Sound upbeat in your message. When recording, be sure to say your message with a smile on your face. It’s obvious when people aren’t happy in their message. Since your work revolves around keeping happy customers, do your part by keeping a happy-sounding voicemail message.

2. Quickly Provide the Relevant Information. When someone reaches your voicemail, it’s important that you help them confirm that they have reached the right person by providing all of the relevant information that they will need.
If the mailbox is NOT setup, the fixed system message, "I'm sorry�" followed by the mailbox number and "�is currently on the phone" plays instead of the mailbox name and personal greeting.

4. Enter your voicemail password. If you have set a password lock for your voicemail account, you will be prompted to key it in. Use the dial pad to do so.

If you’re going to be out of the office on holidays or vacations, make that known in your voicemail so customers don’t think they’re getting ignored. Nothing is more frustrating to a customer than when they can’t reach you and assume you’re ignoring them.
Make it as easy as possible for your prospects by including your phone number near the beginning of the message, then repeating your contact information near the end for good measure.
