5. Business Voicemail Greeting Examples. With all of these things to think about for a short 20-second voicemail, you might be feeling a little bit overwhelmed.
9. Verizon Visual Voicemail. This application has a minimalistic design and strictly defined functionality. When using Verizon Visual Voicemail, you get only voice mail and nothing extra.
Cell phone voicemail greetings are generally more personal and casual than office phones. Consider a greeting like “Hello, you’ve reached [your name]’s cell phone. I can’t take your call at the moment, but if you leave a brief message, I’ll get back to you as quickly as possible.”
The voicemail greeting should be multiple choice and include things like the name of your company, an automated response that is friendly and informative, and information on how to contact you by phone.
Note that the secretary has asked for the reason for calling so she can prioritize the patients who need the most help. She’s also keeping it short and to the point.
*Use the word “with” instead of “to.” It sounds more positive. You want to talk “with” the person, not give them a “talking to.” It’s a subtle difference, yet it keeps the message positive.
