Technology gives us the ability to market our businesses in many ways. One way that has been around for decades is the “on-hold” recording for your phone system. It’s one of the most underappreciated methods for showcasing your company and making sure callers have a good experience.
A standard recording includes up to 75 words and is up to 30 seconds in length. It includes a WAV File that can be uploaded onto most PBX systems and for use with inbound numbers. For a tailor made recording including on-hold promotional messages with background music please call 1300 00 1300 or CLICK HERE.

"We have actually had a few callers ask to be placed back on hold just to hear the entire production." - Jake Skeens / Suncoast Communications
2 days after ordering my Grace Message Player, it came from Amazon in perfect condition (I got prime yo!). I plugged the power cord in, and plugged the male thingy into the Grace thingy, and bam, we have had on hold music ever since. After a few minutes of music, they have a male voice come on explaining that we care but we are busy...we have not forgotten you etc etc, and then some more music, and then a female voice saying basically the same thing. I guess I could load an mp3 with some sales stuff on it, but I kind of like the neutural message that they already had on the machine. I am sooo glad I got this thing. Highly recommended. If you don't like it or it does not work, I bet Amazon would take it back, too.
AT&T used to have this service. My mother-in-law would always have holiday music and I know she's AT&T... positive of this fact! 🙂 (holiday music & AT&T) Apr 14, 2009 5:04 PM User profile for user: DavidJA DavidJA May 15, 2009 12:10 AM in response to PsychedelicWonders In response to PsychedelicWonders

We generally recommend that clients invest in a system capable of delivering a custom messaging on hold feature. Callers and clients appreciate the improved service levels and the additional free advertising can help turn your phone system into another revenue stream for your business.
No matter which kind of company you call — big or small — their on-hold music usually sounds like it has been recorded in a tin can. You would think that with modern technology being able to clone sheep and fly humans around faster than the speed of sound, that a creating a business phone system with clear and crisp on-hold music would be easy. But as it turns out, it isn’t so straightforward.
