Testimonials See all testimonials My contact, Tim, was very friendly and helpful and they produced a high quality recording very quickly for use in our automated call handling system. I just wanted to thank you and your team for your efficient and reliable service whilst setting up our telephone system. The message sounds fantastic and really gives us that professional, classy edge that we’ve always been looking for and the value for money was astounding. The whole process was very well run, issues and queries were very quickly followed up and resolved and I am very happy with the website. A special thanks to Amelia for all the hard work and patience in getting this project completed so quickly.
Weave needs to change their hold music or the god aweful noise that loops in hold. It has static and electronic screeching noise that hurts your ears. Anonymous commented · August 9, 2017 12:45 PM · Flag as inappropriateFlag as inappropriate · Edit… · Delete…
Can I use the music of my favorite artist/band/performer as the background to my Message on Hold program?
Before you start, check with your IT support team or phone system vendor to see if there are any special requirements you need to be aware of. Things like: How long can the recording be? What type of audio file does it need to be? Is there a maximum file size?
Besides that, its a music player that goes full screen on landscape mode and has a funny sound board. I made a toggle button that hangs so you can use it for hold music during a call. Thus whenver someone puts you on hold just hit the hovering musical note and start playing music. Or play music while someones on the phone with you.
The idea of creating a custom on-hold message may sound daunting, but advancements in technology have made it a lot easier in the last few years. In its simplest form, all you need is an audio file. Before you start, check with your IT support team or phone system vendor to see if there are any special requirements you need to be aware of.
When Big Surf Waterpark wanted to enhance their Caller Experience, while making sure it stayed true to their brand, they asked Prosound to create the bridge between the real world, and the phone world. We were able to give voice to their shark mascot, Gil the Shark, in this fun and engaging On-Hold message. This particular message uses a variety of voices to keep the message fresh and interesting. Brian Holsopple stars as the voice of Gil the Shark!
I haven't used this device for an extended period, but since there are no mechanical parts, I expect that it will last. We have been using a professional on hold service for many years at about $60/month. The box that the professional company gave us sounded great when customers would call from a Lan Line. But, when calling from cell phone the voice messages were lower volume and the music would sound horrible. Music keeps cutting in and out and sounds very staticky. So we decided to save some $ and cancel our subscription and buy this unit. We are using the default music and voice messages that came preloaded instead of doing our own music and messages.
Fast, efficient, competitive, friendly. Getting great service from Birmingham Telecom and will be continuing to use them for our phone needs. Thanks Brian and team
Not only can DoNotPay help you get in touch about cancelling subscriptions, scoring refunds or retrieving information, it’s like “a body camera for customer service calls,” Browder says. “Before they make a decision that rips off the customer, they’ll think ‘this could be made public and go viral and hurt our business.’ ” For example, an airline that jacks up prices for rescheduled flights surrounding hurricanes could be shamed for profiting off of natural disasters. Customer service disputes where it contacts companies about refunds for Comcast bills, delayed flights, etc. The free trial credit card that auto-cancels subscriptions before you’re actually charged Traffic and parking appeals where it generates a letter for you based on answers to questions, like if signs were too hard to read or there was a mistake on the ticket Hidden money discovery that finds refunds in your bank fees, identifies forgotten subscriptions, gets you free stuff on your birthday and more Government paperwork assistance that can help you get DMV appointments and fill out forms Skip Waiting On Hold

AT&T used to have this service. My mother-in-law would always have holiday music and I know she's AT&T... positive of this fact! 🙂 (holiday music & AT&T) Apr 14, 2009 5:04 PM User profile for user: DavidJA DavidJA May 15, 2009 12:10 AM in response to PsychedelicWonders In response to PsychedelicWonders
So, given that hold music is such a powerful potential source of frustration, why do companies continue to get it wrong? Reading the articles that are out there, there seems to be a lot of speculation regarding the best choice of music to placate or even entertain customers while they wait in your queue. Some common suggestions include “Hanging On The Telephone” by Blondie, or Lionel Richie’s “Hello, is it me you’re looking for?”. Or how about looking up the customer’s record in your call centre CRM, grabbing their date of birth, and playing something based on their age range - pop for the under 25s and presumably something fusty for the oldies?
