Some providers have it some don't. You would have to contact AT&T to see if they support it. Apr 14, 2009 4:53 PM User profile for user: Robni Rekk Robni Rekk Apr 14, 2009 5:04 PM in response to PsychedelicWonders In response to PsychedelicWonders
The Grace Digital Message and Music on Hold Media MP3 player is an on-hold music and media player designed for use with almost any business telephone setup including PBX, IBX, or Key Phone systems. Keep your customers, clients, or coworkers occupied and entertained while they wait.
On hold messages can be recorded for many purposes, such as promoting your business, answering FAQs or announcing important customer service information. It's important to be clear in the message you are trying to get across. Confusion leads to disengagement and reflects badly on the brand. Determining your callers' wait times is necessary to determine the required length of the on-hold message. Making the recording too short can lead to the message being played too many times. This can be repetitive and lose the caller's attention while they hold.
Our professional Message on Hold programs will connect with your customers, providing valuable information, answering frequently asked questions, building your brand, and reducing call abandonment. From a single on hold message for one location to a multi-location remote load enterprise installation, Holdcom brings three decades of experience to producing professional hold messages.
Your call is important to us, please hold and an advisor will be with you shortly.

5.0 out of 5 stars Solved our royalty-free hold music problem It works perfectly as advertised and solved our royalty-free hold music problem. When it arrived, we installed it with our office telephone system and have never needed to worry about it again. It has such a wide selection that callers get different music every time they call - it does not noticeably repeat. We even got a few compliments from clients in the first month (who had apparently got tired of our old 45-second repeating loop). Terrible product, will not work at all I have purchased 2 of them hoping it was a glitch but neither work, in addition I called support, no help at all, said they would call back-never did.

We offer quality voice talents and professional voice actors who record in all languages, dialects, styles, and age groups to best suit your company needs. The right voice can make your message, your brand, and your mission resonate with callers. Find the voice to best fit your brand!
Here are a few things to keep in mind to have a killer script your callers will be receptive to: Speak to your audience: When creating a script, make sure you know WHO you’re talking to above anything else. Is it moms, teenagers or middle-aged men who like golf? Appeal to their interests in relation to your business with a captive voice, and they’ll be much more willing to listen (and be patient while doing so). Time it appropriately: You know your business better than anyone else, so as such, you’re probably aware of a caller’s average hold times. While this can vary with growth and other factors, make sure you record enough messages to fill the time so a caller isn’t stuck hearing an eternal loop of the same 3 messages. They’ll thank you for it by being far less irritated. Stay current: Some companies have seasonal sales and changes, so including this in your script as the year progresses means you remain relevant with the latest and greatest. For example, during the holidays you can say “Seasons greetings from Fletcher’s Flowers...” or something similar. You can also include event notifications, advertisements, and other informational messages so they learn more about your business. Be natural: Think about how you’d like to be talked to. Typically, a robot isn’t the first thing that comes to mind. Writing for auditory purposes elicits a different approach than writing for digital or print. Make sure whatever your script is that you read it aloud, and test it out on coworkers or friends. If they get bored or disengage, chances are, your callers will too. Know their path: What’s your end goal for what you’d like your caller to accomplish? Tailor your messaging to them based on what you come up with. If you’d like to upsell, consider using some on hold time to discuss a company-wide promotion they can take advantage of, or a fun fact about your industry they wouldn’t know. Give a call-back option: If your phone system has the feature and a caller doesn’t have time to spend on hold, offer them the option to receive a callback without affecting their position in line, or to leave a message. This can alleviate the stress of waiting.
Whether you have one incoming phone line or hundreds, we are compatible with any phone system. We have analog, VoIP, and cloud-based message delivery options.
It’s important to ensure the content is informative and relevant to the caller. And the rule ‘less is more’ very much applies to writing for the ear. It’s important to keep the sentences short and to the point. A popular way to get a message across is follow this structure: Introduce the topic in the first sentence e.g. Did you know that BusinessCo now offers no contract plans for hosted PBX and business VoIP? Explain how the information will benefit the caller in the second sentence e.g. And that means complete flexibility for your business and no long-term commitments. Wrap up with a call to action in the third sentence e.g. To find out more, visit our website businesspbx.com.au or speak to one of our Business Consultants when you come off hold.
Custom on-hold messages with background music, can be integrated into most telephone systems. Take advantage of your callers' waiting time to play important messages or broadcast your pre-made radio commercials. Companies spend huge amounts of money on advertising to get people's attention for just few seconds. So why not use this precious waiting time while you have the full attention of your callers, for free? It's the perfect opportunity to talk about your new products, mention promotions or remind people of what makes you stand out. Showcase yourself!
What’s more, our custom music and on hold messages are compatible with all industries and all phone systems. That means that no matter what type of business you run or what phone provider you use, you know that you’ll be able to reach your customers in a meaningful way.
OUR SOLUTION: We bought a IBOOST 800 audio amplifier. With the volume turned all the way up on both devices, customers calling in on cell phones can now hear voice messages and music much clearer.
