The price is perfect, there are a lot of choices of music I can choose for my patient's and customers to listen to if it is necessary I put them on hold, and it was easy to set up. Their customer service is superb! I would definitely recommend this product!!! Does not work (phone rings and then hangs up on caller). When returned was sent messages from seller that it can be programmed to work, which makes a confusing install with confusing instruction even worse. Also, upon returning product I forgot to include institutions (5 pages of 8x11 paper) and was changed a $75 restocking fee. Do yourself a favor and avoid this product. Questions? Ultimately, your choice of hold music isn’t going to make customers happy if they’re being kept waiting for more than a few minutes, or endlessly passed from one team to another. There are plenty of technologies available to make the inbound call experience faster and more enjoyable although these will vary between different call centre solutions. If you’re not sure what tools you have available to optimise your inbound experience, your call centre software or systems provider will be happy to help.
Nobody likes being put on hold, but you can make the experience more enjoyable and beneficial for your customers. Instead of silence or elevator music, you can get a custom message telling waiting customers about products, answer frequently asked questions, or let them know about recent changes to hours or locations. Harness the power of a captive audience without boring them in the process. Sell your products and services while YOU are on another line. Most business-class phone systems come with a library of pre-recorded on-hold messages or music for you to choose from. They also typically allow you to upload your own, giving you the opportunity to customize your callers’ experience while they wait.
Currently the on hold music starts from the beginning every time. Our on hold file has office information, bios of our doctors, as well as dental tips and services we provide. Since the on hold plays from the beginning every time someone is placed on hold, they end up hearing the same thing every time. We would LOVE the ability to choose for our on hold audio to loop. And when someone is placed on hold they just start listening to where the audio recording is currently on. So they get to hear different parts. If it is a genre, hold music, it's fair to say, is a troubled one with few hits. It's not really meant to be loved or even listened to — it's meant to communicate something specific: Don't hang up. (Cornell makes this plea specifically at the end of his song.) Silence is believed to be a death knell for phone calls — people will simply think the line is dead and hang up. This is true even on non-hold calls; it's why phone companies transmit something called a "comfort tone" over phone lines, a barely audible synthetic noise that signals a connection is still there.
