have on hold music option when the caller calls in to the office and not just when the caller is connected to an extension in the office and waiting on hold Anonymous commented · July 30, 2019 2:41 PM · Flag as inappropriateFlag as inappropriate · Edit… · Delete…
When Big Surf Waterpark wanted to enhance their Caller Experience, while making sure it stayed true to their brand, they asked Prosound to create the bridge between the real world, and the phone world. We were able to give voice to their shark mascot, Gil the Shark, in this fun and engaging On-Hold message. This particular message uses a variety of voices to keep the message fresh and interesting. Brian Holsopple stars as the voice of Gil the Shark!

Call hold/call wait is a network feature (while it is activated by the handset) as such any music would be supplied by your carrier, there should be some there but chances are it's some wonderfull elevator style stuff (I'm partial to Brahms myself 😉 ). Just because you’re writing comedy doesn’t mean you won’t feel embarrassed by what you write. The goal of writing comedy is to overcome that embarrassment, and for you to help your fellow writers know they have nothing to be afraid of. The best comedy writing comes about when the writers are all the best of friends.
At times, a client’s messaging calls for a very specific voice, and we’ve had good success finding just the right voice for the job, even if it’s someone we’ve never worked with before.
So what can we do to avoid inflicting further musical misery on our own customers while they’re patiently sitting on hold? We could just go back to playing a ringing sound, or an intermittent beep just to let people know they’re still connected, but that would be awfully dull. The best compromise is relatively simple electronic music that doesn't have too much going on as the ideal choice for hold music as it requires far less refined sound quality to get a decent rendition down a telephone connection.

Before we get into “Step-By-Step Guide to Custom On Hold Messages” it’s important to understand the value of having custom on hold messages for your brand. Business has always been done over the phone, and callers have always been put on hold, but as online shopping has surpassed brick and mortar traffic, over-the-phone sales have reached all time highs. A recent study by Marchex shows that Americans spent more than $1 trillion in mobile “click-to-call” commerce, and there was over 93 billion consumer-to-business phone calls from smartphones and this number is expected to grow to a whopping 162 billion by 2019, 70% of callers are placed on hold 62% of callers hang-up in less than 45 seconds 34% of callers who hang-up will never call back.
