The organization I work for has used these services since I’ve been with the company. I took over a couple years ago and have always had a great experience with them. The communication and service is absolutely great!! We have had recommendations from them and the turnaround time is always quick! Definitely a happy customer!
There’s no need to stress about music usage or copyrights for your music on hold program. Our licensed music can be used not only as music on hold, but as queue music or background music. We have music to fit every industry and brand – to entertain, distract or influence callers.
Another opportunity to improve customer service is to provide customers with self-service information. If you have help documentation or resources online, be sure to mention them on hold, so that your callers can access that helpful content on their own, leaving your staff free to help with more unique concerns.
(If you can't hear any difference between these two samples, then there's a good chance your speakers are reducing CD quality music to phone quality for you!)
There are three parts to a perfect on hold message: the script, the speaking tone and the written tone. And of course, there is also the music, which plays a big part in representing your business brand.
Our affordable pricing allows you to request several programs a month or year to compliment your outside promotions and marketing efforts or to promote seasonal items or services.
Business Intro – quick intro announcement heard by the caller before they speak with a business representative. Usually quite short and welcoming, introducing the business to the caller.
At Killerspots, we allow you to create completely customizable greetings and messages. All you have to do is let us know which music or message you’d like to play! From there, we’ll record it and get it hooked up to your phone line so that you can start taking advantage of your customer wait time.
"We don't add the expense of sales reps, account managers and lengthy contracts. We simply provide top class voice over, audio production and music on hold free of PRS, BMI or ASCAP fees."
I agree with you. The music phone service provider use is never the best! Like you, when I switch to my calendar on iPhone and ask my caller to wait while I do that, it would be great to have one of my iPod tracks play to him until I pressed the green bar again to return to the call. Surely one could set that up independently of the phone service provider: just a matter of substituting my music choice for my voice until I clicked back off hold?? No list of top 10 “on hold” songs would be complete without an appearance by one of Motown’s finest groups. You may find that moment when you are taken off hold to be a “miracle” of sorts, depending on how long you are kept waiting.
Mixes of Mozart and Beethoven’s classic symphonies are a great way to keep customers engaged as they wait to get on hold.

You’ve heard the basic format for on hold messages before: “Thank you for holding. A representative will be with you shortly…” But there’s far more to an on hold message than the same robotic voice over and over.
