Your Message on Hold content should be updated in conjunction with changing information at your company. These changes might include marketing efforts, customer service strategies, policies, promotions, or other news.
Only bring attention to a hold when: But no matter what, refuse your urge to use distastefully curt phrases like “please hold” and “one moment.”. You should always use custom on hold messages, not trite and irritating ones. Before putting a customer on hold, make sure you have a proper hold procedure in place.

The best customer service I can remember! Stacy helped me chose the right headset and was very patient when I changed my mind. Nice, simple packaging and a prompt service. Thoroughly recommend.
Ultimately, your choice of hold music isn’t going to make customers happy if they’re being kept waiting for more than a few minutes, or endlessly passed from one team to another. There are plenty of technologies available to make the inbound call experience faster and more enjoyable although these will vary between different call centre solutions. If you’re not sure what tools you have available to optimise your inbound experience, your call centre software or systems provider will be happy to help.

When you think outside of the box, there are many ways to take what you have and make it something more.
