The waiting queue allows the caller to wait on the line and should not be longer than 5 minutes. The queue announcement may also be introduced after a "Welcome Message”. The waiting announcement is then cut immediately after the end of the "Welcome Message". The pauses between the announcement blocks in the queue should be about 30 - 60 seconds. This plays immediately after the initial greeting message. If all agents continue to remain busy, the caller will continue to hear the On Hold Music, which can be either music or a message. Click Create Call Queue or click Edit (pencil icon) to the right of the queue you wish to select. Select Change under Hold Music. Enter the Name and the Phone Number or Extension you wish to record your initial greeting on. Click Call Now and follow the instructions.

Set Default Music On Hold for All Extensions. Log in to Account Manager. Navigate to the Phone System tab and click Music on Hold from the menu on the left side of the screen.
