This product works exactly as it states. I did not use the software that came with it, but with a few online searches it was easy to figure out how to convert a voice memo on my iphone to a compatible file, and background music is easy to find online too. So I read from a script I wrote with background music playing and made a voice memo on my iphone, converted it to the appropriate music file with free online software, and dragged and dropped the file into the usb drive they provided. Very low tech but the end result is excellent and I can change it up as often as I want. Very pleased with the purchase. I have an older phone system that came with my business when I started renting. There was a male adapter plug that was plugged into a CD player, but if the CD player was not running, I got no sound for "on hold". Sometimes I would remember to turn on the CD and put it on repeat, but...somethimes it would be turned off for months (the system is in an enclosed stairwell that is hard to get to).

The doctor wants the front office staff to be able to handle changing the office phones and greetings without having to ask to use his personal cell phone and he does not want to require the front office staff to connect their personal cell phones to Weave in order to choose a greeting for the Voicemail override. Here are a few things to keep in mind to have a killer script your callers will be receptive to: Speak to your audience: When creating a script, make sure you know WHO you’re talking to above anything else. Make sure whatever your script is that you read it aloud, and test it out on coworkers or friends. If they get bored or disengage, chances are, your callers will too. Know their path: What’s your end goal for what you’d like your caller to accomplish? Tailor your messaging to them based on what you come up with. If you’d like to upsell, consider using some on hold time to discuss a company-wide promotion they can take advantage of, or a fun fact about your industry they wouldn’t know. Give a call-back option: If your phone system has the feature and a caller doesn’t have time to spend on hold, offer them the option to receive a callback without affecting their position in line, or to leave a message.
