10. "Hello, you've reached [X company]. We can't take your call right now, but please leave your name, contact information, and reason for reaching out, and one of our team members will be in touch within 24 hours.
19. Howdy, you’ve reached [employee name]’s voicemail field. [Employee first name] no longer works for [company name]. Please name our major line at [phone number] and we’ll be cheerful to connect you with a most modern team member who can aid.

Finally, make sure your Automated Attendant is set up in a logical manner. It helps define a caller’s path, which is essential to the creation of fine-grained voicemail greetings.
12. “Hello, you’ve reached the Customer Support department at [company name]. We are unable to take your call at the moment. We know your time is valuable so instead of placing you on hold, let us call you back! Please leave your name, phone number, the reason for your call, and two different times that are convenient for you to receive a call back from us. Thank you!” Get a better idea of your caller’s schedule by asking them for a few different times you can call back. Their time is important, too!
2. Offer clear options. For many small businesses, the phone announcement will typically send the caller straight to a voicemail box. For larger organizations, you may decide to direct callers to a phone menu with options or forward the call to an external destination.
Simply speak into your phone or computer while recording a greeting with your business phone service. If you need to create your own audio file, the voice memo app on your phone should do fine.
A voicemail greeting, on the other hand, refers to the message that your callers hear upon answering the phone. Voicemail greetings can include any information you’d wish to convey, such as special sales, bargains, alternate phone numbers to use, or your company’s normal working hours.
Don’t forget to change your cell phone voicemail if you decide to use call-forwarding, and consider updating the phone number in your email signature while working remotely.

You can enable or disable a greeting using the radio buttons at the top of the pane. The standard greeting cannot be disabled, however, the alternate greeting can be enabled in its place. Choose your own recording or use the system default.
Your voicemail message should ideally answer all of the following requirements: Brief -- nothing bores callers as much (or makes them hang up as often) as long voicemail messages Informative -- if it's your professional voicemail, say your name, business, and if necessary, department.
