Hi All, Welcome back to my channel! Talking on the phone and even leaving voicemails may seem like a thing of the past but believe me it is still happening-
Customer experience is today’s business battleground. At a time where it’s common for even the most established businesses to deliver poor service, incompetent support, and just outright bad communication, how do you stand out? As big companies fail in the customer experience department, doors open for small business owners and entrepreneurs to distinguish themselves.
When you leave a voicemail message, be sure to identify yourself right away. Give your return phone number at the beginning of your message so that other people don't have to listen to you twice. Speak slowly and clearly. It helps to pretend to be writing your number in the air, which will slow you down and help with clarity. Say when you can be reached.
Sorry, Chris and Susan aren’t here right now. Please leave your name and number after the tone. If you are calling regarding an outstanding debt, please leave your message before the tone.
A positive attitude extends to your voice and how you’re speaking. At the same time, if the prospect can’t hear or understand you, all of your work is wasted. Follow the four Cs: Be Clear: Drink water, clear your throat, invest in resources like a good headset and phone. Be as mindful as possible about speaking clearly. Be Concise: Keep it short and simple. Use a good Cadence: Don’t be afraid of strategic pauses, and vary the speed of your delivery. Be Compelling: Speak with authority.
You can also head to Settings → Wi-Fi → and toggle it off. Now try using voicemail.
Context will make your message sound much more authentic and will result in a higher response rate.
I will share examples with you, so it’s easier for you to remember and also, so that you can start using them straight away.
