The length of your voicemail plays a big role in its efficacy. Try to keep the length of your voicemail between 15- 30 seconds. Anything more and you will be rambling, anything less, and you’re probably not checking one of the three boxes above as effectively as you need to.
Don’t rush. It’s important to speak slowly and clearly when leaving your next voicemail greeting. Have you ever called someone and the message sounds like one big word? Don’t be that guy. Pronounce your words and take pauses between your sentences

This is something that can be done, yes. But I can't think of a time when a salesperson would want to do it. Best-case scenario, the timestamp will alert the prospect you left a voicemail at a late hour or on the weekend, and they'll wonder why. Worst-case scenario, they'll just think your desperate.

Listen to and manage your U-verse Voicemail messages by phone or online. Dial *98 from your U-verse home phone, dial your home phone number from another phone, or access your voicemail messages online from the Voicemail Settings tab. Press the * key when you hear your greeting. Enter your PIN. Press 4 and follow the prompts.

Follow the four Cs: Be Clear: Drink water, clear your throat, invest in resources like a good headset and phone. Be as mindful as possible about speaking clearly. Be Concise: Keep it short and simple. Use a good Cadence: Don’t be afraid of strategic pauses, and vary the speed of your delivery. Be Compelling: Speak with authority.
