As you practice and score your sales voicemails, you’ll start to determine some best practices. Here are a few of mine:

“Just turn it off and back on again.” You may have heard this as a joke, but it’s actually advantageous to regularly reboot your devices.
Any time you're checking voicemail from a phone line that is not your home line, you are required to enter your voicemail PIN. Did you forget your PIN? You can reset it.
Need your voicemail recording as soon as possible? Depending on the complexity of your job, you can receive your final audio files in as little as one day.
If you’re too mysterious with information, suspicions will be raised. If you leave a mini-sales pitch that’s all about you, the prospect will most likely make the decision not to return your call.
If you listened to the voicemail at 4:30 p.m., on the other hand, your day is likely wrapping up. You might email the salesperson that night or return their call first thing the next day.
Choose your busy greeting from the drop-down menu next to If busy use greeting from: System—This plays the system default greeting. Personal—If this option is selected, choose the file to upload.
I will share examples with you, so it’s easier for you to remember and also, so that you can start using them straight away.
