In this blog post, we'll cover how to set up several voicemail greetings: a name recording for your voicemail box, a default greeting, and a temporary (for holidays and vacations) greeting.
From a voicemail customer perspective, it leaves them possibly listening to silence (or background noises) until the call clearing signal is received and the voicemailbox is closed. Some systems will give you the option to playback/re-record your message, as well as mark it urgent etc. On your Android device, open the Google Voice app . At the top left, tap Menu. Settings. 3. Listen to voicemail messages. Access voicemail. Press 1 to Get your Messages. Press 1 for Voice Messages. Use these keys while you're listening to your messages
Too many reps are the inside sales equivalent of chatty grandmas—pitching solutions, discussing features, and offering value propositions over a voicemail.
4. "Hello, you've reached [your name and title]. I'm currently out on parental leave until [date]. In the meantime, please direct all phone calls to [alternate contact name] at [phone number] and emails to [email address].
Once done recording, go to the Voicemail greeting to find all the recorded voicemails. Click on the "Play" button beside the name of the voicemail to play it. To change the name of the recording, tap on it, and enter the name of someone who called you and set it as active. The caller will hear the voicemail greetings once they called you.
Instead, lead with, "Next time we talk, I want to share two goals on our new product roadmap that speak directly to several pain points you've raised. I'll tell you more in our next meeting. How about next Tuesday?"
6. After the message has played, you’ll be given some options for what to do with the message e.g. delete or save it, etc. along with the corresponding number to press.
The Serial Position Effect states that the human brain is most adept at recalling the first and last items in a series. For sales reps, this psychological phenomenon means that your voicemails are much more likely to be remembered if they're listened to at the beginning or the end of the day.
Calling a Number To Record Select By Calling a Number to Record. Give the file a name. Optional: Leave a note for yourself to tell what the file is for. Type in the Phone Number or Extension you would like it to dial. The user logged into Configuration Manager must have services assigned to them for this to work. Select Call Now. The system will call you. Follow the prompts to record your greeting. Select Finished Recording. Click Save. Click Select on the audio file you would like to use.

Go to your myAT account overview and open the My wireless section. Scroll to My devices & add-ons and choose the device you want to manage. Select Manage my device. Under Device options & settings, choose Reset voicemail password and follow the prompts.
5. "Hello, [Person's name] is chasing new adventures and is no longer with [Company name]. Please forward all future requests to [New or interim person's name] at [phone number].
Standard greeting with phone number: "At the tone, please record your message to [phone number]."
4. To delete multiple voicemails, select and hold the first voicemail, then click on “More items.”
