If you do leave a message, ask yourself, “Would I return this call?” If you hesitate to say yes, change your message.
If you are a burglar, then we’re probably at home cleaning our weapons right now and can’t come to the phone. Otherwise, we probably aren’t home and it’s safe to leave us a message.
When you want to use your original greeting, delete your temporary greeting. To do this: Press the Message Key. Enter your password, followed by the # key. Press 0 for Mailbox Options. Unfortunately, once a voicemail message has been deleted there is no way to retrieve it. At the end of the below mentioned expiry periods, voicemail messages will be purged from the network and will no longer be accessible.

By default, you'll receive an email anytime you miss a call, but text messaging notifications are turned off.

In all honesty, your response rate with sales voicemails probably won't be high—the average response rate for a prospecting voicemail is between 4-6%, industry wide. You'll probably see more engagement using email. And leaving the perfect message takes planning and practice.
