Voicemails don't have to be a last resort or a dead end. Use these tips for messages that actually move the conversation forward. You'll enjoy richer prospect relationships and fewer opportunities gone cold.
4. On Audacity’s main control panel, make sure “Line In” or “Built-In Input” is selected in the drop-down menu for the recording source, marked by a microphone icon. The source you pick should match the port you’re using to connect your iPhone or Android to your computer.

Your second call should happen immediately after your first voicemail. In this message, quickly say, in 10 seconds or less, an important detail you neglected to mention during your first call.
The first two are voicemails for prospects you haven’t spoken with yet, the next one is for when you’re calling a prospect or client back, and the last example is for when your prospect or client isn’t calling you back at all:

Reiterate the main point of your message and repeat your name and phone number. This will help the receiver remember your name and message and spares him from having to listen from the beginning to write down your contact information.
Landlines continue to have a place in business and are in fact more prevalent than cell phones as primary telephone numbers -- at least for now.
7. Identify Yourself And Your Business. When you call someone for the first time, unless you know their voice, you really have no way of making sure you actually called the right number.
24. "Thank you for calling [company]. We're closed for [holiday] from [date] until [date]. Please leave your message and we'll get back to you as soon as possible. Have a happy holiday season!"
Messaging services including Facebook Messenger, Telegram, and WhatsApp all support voice messaging. Generally, you send a voice message through one of these apps by opening a conversation and holding down the microphone button. You then let go to send the message or swipe the screen to delete.
