I’m not a big fan of voicemail. I don’t mind leaving voicemail messages; I just hate having to listen to them. For some strange reason when people know their voice is being recorded, their brain short circuits. What normally would take 30 seconds to say, now takes 2 minutes.
Press 2 to continue recording. (In other words, the # is a great “Pause” key; it holds the recording while you think.)
When leaving your voicemail and phone number, do not say, "Please call me back at ..." Nothing sounds more like a salesperson making a cold call then saying, "please call me back at...".
4. Press and hold the message[s] you wish to recover, then “Save” to confirm the recovery.
So, you diligently practice this presentation, yet when you call, all you get is a voicemail. You will have to decide whether to leave a voicemail – it is debatable. Try your own experiment to see what works. I recommend leaving voicemails.
Android phones can access voicemail by holding down the 1 key on the dial pad until the phone dials your 10-digit phone number.
