The messages we create and leave can affect the impression we make on clients, prospective clients, partners, and more. Access your voicemail Dial *98 from your home phone. If you are away from home, dial your access number and follow the prompts, or dial your phone number, then press the * key when you hear the greeting.
It doesn’t have to be that way, though. First of all, leaving a voicemail isn’t that big of a deal. It’s just a message. Less than a minute of you talking, and that’s it. It’s doesn’t call for panic.

When do you leave a voicemail? This is largely dependent on your call sequence and cadence. It is recommended that you make several call attempts in order to engage the prospect on a “live call.” After you have done this and your attempts have not been fruitful, then you leave a voicemail.
5. US Cellular: Dial *86 (*VM) from your US Cellular device, then press “Call.” This command will dial you into the voicemail system’s main menu. Press “3” to access the Greetings menu.
