The attendant menu for your main contact number may be the first form of contact that a customer has with your business. Make sure your greeting is clearly articulated. Provide an option to speak with an operator if the caller has a question that is not addressed by the menu options.

The message is not from your phone, this message is from your provider. Please dial 1571 to access your Voicemail menu and listen or erase your messages.
You don't necessarily need to say “Goodbye” at the end of a voice mail, because you didn't really talk to anyone. Instead, try something like, “Look forward to talking* with you!” How do I make a personal voicemail greeting? Start with a polite “Hello”. Inform the caller of who you are, and apologize for missing the call. End your script by asking the caller to leave a name and contact number with a brief message. Inform the caller that you will get back to them as soon as possible.

When following up with leads, it’s important to have well-practiced voicemail scripts in place. You will leave a lot of them so do your best to come across as helpful, friendly, and professional

I had to call Elijah this week to get some information. I tried his technique on him, cutting off my message in midword. I said, “I’m going to quote you in my column this week and I need…” He called me back in under 3 minutes laughing hysterically. This technique could revolutionize message leaving. I’ve been using it all week and it works. Be careful about how far you go on the humor with someone you don’t know.
You also don't want to confuse them with too much technical jargon and complex vocab. Keep things on the lighter side and approach your voicemails conversationally.
You can also head to Settings → Wi-Fi → and toggle it off. Now try using voicemail.
First, call your prospect and leave a concise 15-second message. This voicemail should include the bulk of the information you want to share: your reason for calling, benefits to the prospect, etc.
As for deciding whether to use your voice or your keyboard when communicating with a client, ask yourself, who am I contacting? What am I contacting the individual for? How fast am I looking for a response? Then decide whether to call or write. The choice is yours, but keep in mind the pros and cons of each.
