Consider leaving your e-mail in addition to your phone number. People like choices. Some people like to have conversations on the phone, while others prefer communicating through e-mail. You don’t know what kind of person your listener will be, so leave the option on the table. For many, e-mail correspondence is less threatening and might actually encourage them to reach out to you. Make sure your speech is both air-tight and thoughtful. That doesn't mean you have to rush, but it does mean you have to know your point and get to it quickly.

9. “Hey, it’s [your name] at [your company] – thanks for giving me a call! I can’t wait to chat. Just leave your name, number and I’ll call you back as soon as I have the chance. Better yet, send me a text with the best time to reach you and the reason for your call. Looking forward to hearing from you.” Text communication is becoming much more relevant now. Direct your caller to text you in case they have a question you can answer easier via text. Who knows, they might prefer text messages to phone calls too.
Splitting your message into two parts has a couple of benefits. First, it makes you more memorable. Second, you seem less rehearsed. If you're reciting from a script, you're probably not going to forget a key component. Prospects will automatically trust you more.

To change your Standard Voicemail greeting follow the directions below. Enter your password and the press # key. From Shoretel Communicator (You will need to have access to your Shoretel phone to record the message) In the menu bar, click More, then Prefereces. Your phone will turn on and beep. Begin your message.

To some extent, we all have a “phone voice”. But there are phone voices and then there are PHONE VOICES. We’ve all gotten a voicemail from the stiff, ultra-peppy, overly rehearsed cheerleader; it doesn’t sit well with you, right?
Give them a reason to call you back. In both voicemail messages, did you noticed how I mentioned new information they might be interested in? That will grab their attention more than simply introducing yourself, thanking them and asking them to give you a call if they have any questions. Come from a place of helpfulness by giving them something to look forward to and that will solve a problem.
