It is really nice to know that it is possible to save all of your best voice messages. This is a great way to be able to keep and remember some of your most cherished memories. It is amazing to me that this is something that can be done with so many different types of communication devices. I am especially amazed that it can be done with a cassette tape. Here’s a simple clinician voicemail script if you want to keep your message to the point. Hello. You’ve reached Highland Family Counseling Services. We are currently unable to take your call, so please state your name, phone number, and a detailed message after the beep. We will return all calls within two business days.
.
To end the voicemail, state (or restate) your main question, then say your phone number. You can also say you’ll follow-up with an email. Now, this isn’t the same as saying, “If I don’t hear from you, you’ll hear from me!” Instead, it’s giving them another way to contact you, one they may be more comfortable with. They should still feel a responsibility to respond to your question, but now they have two options for how to get back in touch. (Then send that email, of course.)

If you sound too relaxed or overly familiar, you're going to undermine both your and your company's credibility. People want to buy from an expert — not someone trying too hard to sound cool. So avoid coming off as too laid back and using too much slang, "um's," and "yeah's."
Sending an email to each prospect before you call gives them an additional way to get in touch with you when they're ready. As you're leaving your voicemail, mention that you've sent them a quick email as well that has further details on who you are and the purpose of your call. As Florin Tatulea of Loopio explains:
Think about if you were someone working in the corporate world, what kind of voicemail would you like to receive, and try to keep that image in mind when leaving a voicemail.
The last step is to end the recording and save your voicemail. It’s a good practice to leave your contact number once again before you end your message so that your recipient can easily call you back.
You can reach me by calling (your number). That number again is (your number), and ask for _________. I look forward speaking with you and thanks in advance for returning my call.”
Before you pick up the phone, consider why the person you are calling should listen to you. Put yourself in their shoes and imagine their pain points.
check words for the English /oʊ/ vowel. Many non-native speakers make this more like a single vowel and it’s a double vowel so it should have /o/ and /ʊ/ smoothly joined together. Check it in the word ‘phone’ . Another double vowel to look out for in your Voicemail Greeting example is the diphthong vowel /eɪ/. This vowel is in words like ‘wait’ and ‘able’. Many people use the word ‘can’t’ in their Voicemail greeting example. This can be a trap for non-native English speakers. That’s why we chose ‘unable’ instead! Watch out for the word ‘can’t’! In American English and British English the vowel in ‘can’t’ is pronounced with the vowel /æ/ like in ‘pat’ – /kænt/.
One quick way to sound more relaxed is to speak slower – slower than feels natural to you, even. If you rush the sales voicemail, it’ll sound like you’re trying to squeeze in your 50 calls for the day, and nobody wants to feel like they’re just another name on your list. Also, speaking slowly saves you from mumbling – if the contact can’t understand what you’re saying, what’s the point of learning how to leave a voicemail?
Hook your external Microphone into your computer, just follow the color patterns when plugging in the device.
1. Press the fixed key with the envelope graphic, or dial the phone’s phone number.
And when you send your email (I always recommend sending an email right after you leave a voicemail message) you can simply say:
