You can set up stutter dial tone through your account portal. With this feature on, you will have a stutter dial tone, instead of a normal dial tone, if you have a new voicemail.

If I get a message like that – I would be wondering: Who is me? I still like it when people leave their name, I don’t have to be guessing who is calling.
Recently one of my students asked a great question about voicemail in English and I thought that you might have the same question as well.
Voicemail #1: "Hi Jerry, I recently attended one of TrustPilot's webinars. I didn't receive any follow-up emails, which made me wonder if you have a marketing strategy in place for nurturing webinar leads. Folks who attend a live event are 30% more likely to convert, according to my team's research. What strategy, if any, do you have in place today?"

A commonly overlooked aspect of voicemail etiquette is your own mailbox greeting. A lot of us simply set it and forget it when we first get our phones, which for some of us was when we were teens, or we don’t have anything set up at all.

Many companies offer an escape option so that if a caller ends up in a staff member’s voice mailbox, he or she can “escape” out of the mailbox and go back to the attendant menu. Use a customized auto-attendant for this situation. If you would like to leave a voicemail, please press 1 and leave your name, number, and a brief message. If you would like to return to the main menu, please press the # key.
You should script out your greetings, rehearse, and find a tone of voice that is reflective of your professionalism and your company’s personality. If applicable, your tone and your message should take into account that certain industries and companies are more conservative than others.
Your clients don’t have a lot of time, and neither do you. Use the following short voicemail greetings to get to the point quickly and invite them to leave a message.
But the key to success here is knowing what to say on the second and third voicemail/email attempts BEFORE picking up the phone.
