We’ve all had to make phone calls we wish we didn’t have to make. While the phone rings, we pray the person doesn’t answer, so we can simply leave a voicemail message.
The following sample voicemail messages will help you to use this form of communication effectively, whether you are leaving a message for someone to return your call or recording a greeting for people trying to contact you.
When you want to use your original greeting, delete your temporary greeting. To do this: Press the Message Key. Enter your password, followed by the # key. Press 0 for Mailbox Options. Press 4 to record your Temporary greeting. Press 2 to delete your Temporary Greeting. Hang up. Press the Message key. Enter your password, followed by the # key. Press 1 to listen to new messages. Follow the prompts to save, delete, etc.
The easiest way to listen to your voicemail is to call your mailbox. Either dial your mobile number from your phone or use quick-dial access:

Are you creating a voicemail greeting for your entire company or team? These business voicemail greetings will do the trick.
A separate after-hours attendant menu can inform callers that your office is closed, state your business’ operating hours, and provide options that callers can immediately act upon. The audio quality may not be perfect, but at least that message won’t be lost forever if something happens to your old device.
