Tap a message notification. When you get a voicemail, you can check your message from the notification on your phone. Swipe down from the top of the screen. Tap Voicemail . Call your voicemail. 4. Reset your pin. Maybe you have forgotten your pin or passcode or you never set it up in the first place. This is a common issue. Most carriers have detailed instructions for changing passcodes.
