Here's an advanced technique for all you overachievers. It's "advanced" because it's rarely used, not because it's difficult. The trick? Leave two sales voicemails instead of one. Let us explain:
There's one really easy way to improve your investing returns -- lengthen your holding period for the stocks of great businesses. Warren Buffett has long maintained that his "favorite holding period is forever." Of course, even Buffett sells some of his stocks occasionally.
Pro tip: Only use first names. People of authority call each other by their first name only. Using the contact’s full name or saying Mr./Ms. [last name] can make you seem less confident and important than the person you’re calling.

After you have stated the nature of your call, you want to be sure to close out your voicemail confidently. If you say something similar to “please call me back”, or “I really need to talk to you” you run the risk of coming across overly excited and potentially a little desperate.
Avoid background noise. Whether you have music playing in your office, or you’re sitting in a coffee shop, background noise can make it difficult for your customers to understand your greeting. Limit the noise around you when you leave your voicemail greeting.
4. Enter your voicemail password. If you have set a password lock for your voicemail account, you will be prompted to key it in. Use the dial pad to do so.

For an organization, it's a good idea to announce your standard office hours. Dial *98 on your OnSIP-registered phone. Enter your voicemail box number. Enter the PIN/password for your voicemail box. Press 0 for voicemail box options. Press 1 for unavailable greeting.
Hey guess who this is? You guessed it. Guess what you have to do now? You guessed it.
