Ok so let’s say you’ve made a few calls and have left several messages and you don’t want to leave another one… if that’s the case, at least hang up before the end of their “leave a message after the tone” instructions so that they don’t get notified of a voicemail just to hear you hanging upon them.
Before we proceed with the means to fix your voicemail not working on iPhone, it’s of utmost importance to know if voicemail is set up in the first place.

If you don't create call answering rules, incoming callers will be sent directly to your voice mail when you’re not available.

Your phone number is the last thing you should say on a voicemail. Say it once, slowly, and make sure to repeat it again. This has two benefits: First, it makes your phone number the last thing they hear, which encourages an immediate call back. And, second, in the age of voicemail dictation, it ensures your phone number appears clearly at the end of the message text. It will be hyperlinked and easy to push for a quick reply from your prospect.
First, call your prospect and leave a concise 15-second message. This voicemail should include the bulk of the information you want to share: your reason for calling, benefits to the prospect, etc.
