I have a confession to make: I haven't recorded a new voicemail greeting in nearly a decade. Since then, I've (hopefully) become more articulate, poised, and self-assured. But hear my voicemail recording, and you'd think I was still new to the work world, a little unsure of myself — and probably not an authority.

So, how do you protect your information? There are a few settings and privacy apps that can help.
Considering how often cold calls go to voicemail, your ability to leave compelling sales voicemails can have an enormous impact on your success during the prospecting stage.
So what should you do if you’ve got a voicemail that’s really worth saving? The solution involves some free software and an affordable purchase, but it’s doable. Here’s how:
Remember, your prospects (and you too, if you're honest) care mainly about themselves. In other words, your sales voicemails will be much more successful if the benefit to the prospect is clearly stated.
To end the voicemail, state (or restate) your main question, then say your phone number. You can also say you’ll follow-up with an email. Now, this isn’t the same as saying, “If I don’t hear from you, you’ll hear from me!” Instead, it’s giving them another way to contact you, one they may be more comfortable with. They should still feel a responsibility to respond to your question, but now they have two options for how to get back in touch. (Then send that email, of course.)

First, go to the "Phone" app on your iOS device and go to the Voicemail tab. Then, select the voicemail that you want to save and tap on the "Share" button."
Obviously, prospects aren't going to listen to an overly long voicemail from a caller whose number they don't recognize, so pushing past 30 seconds ensures the message will get deleted almost immediately. On the other hand, buyers are also unlikely to listen to an overly short message.
And also don’t forget to write down your message just in case you get too anxious and forget to say your name at the end of the message.
Aaargh, you are thinking, crap I need to say something, ooooh what do I say, think, think… nothing comes to mind, you are not prepared and you hang up.
What should I say on my voicemail? Your voicemail should state the purpose of your call, and should include a value statement as well as your contact information.
Most of the time this error is caused by the connectivity of your phone to a cellular network or WiFi connection. The easiest way for solving this issue is by turning the Airplane Mode ON. On your main screen of the phone, you can swap down the notification bar and tap on the Airplane Mode option. Once it is ON all the connectivity to your phone will be turned off. You can wait for 30 seconds and then turn it back OFF by using the same method. This option can vary depending on the device you are using. For some devices, you need to go to settings or use the power button on the phone to get to Airplane Mode. After applying this method, you can now try updating or setting up the voicemail greeting on your phone.
