If the system asks you to record your name as you log in, you must press 1 and begin at step 2 in the instructions below. You can record your name at any time after logging in by following the entire procedure, beginning at step 1.

One quick way to sound more relaxed is to speak slower – slower than feels natural to you, even. If you rush the sales voicemail, it’ll sound like you’re trying to squeeze in your 50 calls for the day, and nobody wants to feel like they’re just another name on your list. Also, speaking slowly saves you from mumbling – if the contact can’t understand what you’re saying, what’s the point of learning how to leave a voicemail?

Procedure Log in to 8x8 Admin Console. Click Users. Find the user profile for which you want to edit voicemail settings. Click Pencil icon to the right of the user profile. Go to Voicemail settings. Under External Voicemail Greeting setting, click Change. Select an existing audio file, or click + Create audio files to record or upload a new audio file.
