Finding a quiet place with good reception where you won’t be interrupted ensures that when you speak, you will be clearly heard; it also removes background noises from the equation, entirely.

4. Before each voicemail message is played, enter the number associated with deleting a message.

1. Call your number. It's that simple. Use any landline or cell phone to dial your mobile or landline number. Dial the full number. Make sure someone doesn't actually answer the phone you are calling when it rings, though. Make sure you dial the area code with the number.
However, I would not leave a voicemail until I had called that hiring authority many times. Only after I conclude that it is unlikely that I'll ever catch this person, would I leave a voicemail.
