If you do this two or three times in a row, you further degrade your chances of ever connecting with this prospect. The last step is to end the recording and save your voicemail. It’s a good practice to leave your contact number once again before you end your message so that your recipient can easily call you back.
If you’re too mysterious with information, suspicions will be raised. If you leave a mini-sales pitch that’s all about you, the prospect will most likely make the decision not to return your call.
