Through personal experience and research, I’ve been able to identify the most effective voicemail script — along with the keys to implementing it — so you leave voicemails that generate an incredible response every time.
On another phone: Dial your own mobile number, press * or # (depending on your carrier) to bypass your greeting, then enter your voicemail password.

Android phones are made by a variety of different manufacturers, so saving voicemails differs slightly depending on the model you own. But there are some general steps you can follow to save those important messages.
In Microsoft 365, you can record a greeting, edit call answering rules, set up Outlook Voice Access, edit text message and email notification settings, and turn on voice mail preview using Outlook on the web.
Refer to your previous conversation to jog their memory, saying, "In our meeting earlier, you said something about your shipping needs that really stuck out to me. I'd love to ask you a question about that."
1. Call your number. It's that simple. Use any landline or cell phone to dial your mobile or landline number. Dial the full number. Make sure someone doesn't actually answer the phone you are calling when it rings, though. Make sure you dial the area code with the number.
Protect your script from becoming wooden with repetition. Instead, use bullet points to stay on track while keeping your tone and delivery casual.
Now, this might seem like I'm reneging on what I just said, but you can easily reconcile this point with the one above. While you should keep your tone conversational, you can't get carried away.
Get your messages by phone or by email anytime, anywhere. With voicemail you can: Have your messages sent to your email inbox. Check your messages using a Touch-Tone phone. Get notified when you have a new message.
8. "Hi, you've reached [your name]. I'm unable to come to the phone right now. But if you leave your name, number, and a short message, I'll be sure to call back.

Hi Mary! First of all, I’m so sorry to hear that. What a horrible thing to have happen! It really depends on the manufacturer. There are high quality picture frames and small, less expensive ones that probably don’t have a lot of memory or ways to protect what’s been recorded. I would start with the manufacturer to see if they have any ideas. If they can’t help, try one of the recording suggestions we made in the post to see if they might be able to help. Even some Walgreens and Walmart have recording services, that preserve recordings, so they might also be able to help.
