Continue to test voicemails as you score your results. For example, RingDNA finds the best times to call are 6:45 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The worst times are Monday mornings from 6:00 a.m. to noon and Friday afternoons. Try different call times and see what works for you.

If you want to add another condition to your rule, select Add condition. You can add multiple conditions to a rule but do this judiciously so your rules don't become overly complex.

When your business is closed for vacation or holidays, it’s imperative that you set appropriate expectations for a callback and to provide an alternative coverage option, if available. The following greeting accomplishes this succinctly.
21. "Hello, you've reached [your name, the office of X company]. The team is currently out of the office, but we'll be back on [date] stuffed with good food and eager to speak with you. Leave your name, number, and — if you're so inclined — your favorite [holiday dish, Thanksgiving tradition, etc.]"
4. "Hello, you've reached [your name and title]. I'm currently out on parental leave until [date]. In the meantime, please direct all phone calls to [alternate contact name] at [phone number] and emails to [email address].
A professional voicemail should be short and succinct. Simply introduce your company, ask the caller to leave their information, and let the caller know when to expect a callback. A lot of times our anxieties get the best of us and we don’t often think about the person on the other end of the voicemail and the information they need.
