First-time sales outreach response is plummeting. According to Jill Konrath, 97% of all business calls now go to voicemail.
At the beginning of the show, I used an example of a voicemail greeting – I used the name Luke Skywalker. He is a character from the Star Wars movie for those of you who hadn’t heard of Luke Skywalker before.

If you do leave a message, ask yourself, “Would I return this call?” If you hesitate to say yes, change your message.
Thank you for calling [Company Name]. If you know your party’s extension, please dial it at any time. To reach our company directory, press 1. For more information about [Company Name], press 2. If you are an existing customer, please press 3. For billing questions, press 4. To repeat menu options, press 9. For all other inquiries, press 0. 3. Language Options
To receive text message notifications, select Notify me via text message when new voicemail messages are received.

Conversely, other users can record and send voice mail messages directly to your mailbox. When convenient, you can access your mailbox to get those messages.

I assume it’s safe to say you’ve gotten really busy or this isn’t a top priority for you at the moment so I’ll take you off of my call list as to no longer interrupt your day.
First, they're not a client yet, so they won't find your ambiguous award that interesting. Second, news like this takes the focus off the prospect and onto you -- not where you want it to be.
“Hi, this is Luke. Please leave a message and I will get back to you as soon as I can. Thank you.”
Using a second phone, dial the Voicemails Forever Access number closest to you (USA: 201-285-5965) and when prompted enter your 8 digit Voicemails Forever PIN number.
This is another helpful outreach strategy for prospects you haven't heard from in a while.
Part 2. How to Change the Voicemail Number on iPhone After you set your personal voicemail greeting, your iPhone dials a number to recover or access your voicemail. In this way, you can change the 9-digit voicemail number by following easy steps: Step 1 Open the app on your phone. Go into your iPhone dialer and access the voicemail features.
4. Reset your pin. Maybe you have forgotten your pin or passcode or you never set it up in the first place. This is a common issue. Most carriers have detailed instructions for changing passcodes. For example, to change a T-Mobile passcode, hold down the "1" key, then press the star key, and then press number 5 to go into passcode security. Then press 1, and you will be able to change your passcode. You can change your Sprint passcode online by choosing the my preferences tab and then the "things I can manage online" section. You can reset your pin by calling the carrier if you have forgotten it or never set it up at all. Some sites allow you to do this online.
Navigate to Settings → General → Reset → Reset Network Settings → Enter your password → Reset Network Settings.
