Your voicemail greeting is the message your callers hear when they reach your voicemail. There are two types of voicemail greetings - Busy and No Answer. The Busy greeting is played when you are on another call and do not have call waiting, and the No Answer greeting is played when you do not answer the call.

While you’re updating your voicemail greeting, make sure you let callers know when they can expect to receive a call back from you or from someone else from your company. Most professionals opt for a 24-hour callback window. Clearly state this in your voicemail greeting to set expectations with your callers.
On the "Voicemail greeting" tab, click on the "Record a greeting" button to record the voicemail greetings. A voicemail's time is approximately is around 10 seconds, wait for it to finish. Once done recording, click on the "Stop" button at the center of the recording tab to end it.

Honestly this is just common sense if you stop thinking about yourself for a second and instead consider what it is like when you call someone expecting to talk to a person, and instead get put through to a machine.
