Does leaving a voicemail message create performance anxiety for you? If it does, you probably are a millennial. There's good news and bad news about this. The good news is that you are early in your career, with lots of opportunities to make a positive difference in your world.
Think about if you were someone working in the corporate world, what kind of voicemail would you like to receive, and try to keep that image in mind when leaving a voicemail.
Note: a desk phones' voicemail greeting can only be recorded via phone, there is no way to upload or download a greeting through the online panel.

While missed calls aren’t ideal, you can let your caller know you’re still there for them by having a great voicemail greeting. The best business voicemail greetings let your customers (and potential customers) know why you’re not available and how they can best get in contact with your business. They are also short and to the point. You usually want to keep your greeting between 6 and 24 seconds long so callers don’t hang up halfway through.
That being said, you want to stop short of coming off as aggressive. Remember to keep your tone conversational, and try not to badger prospects with too many voicemails. There's a middle ground between being pushy and being a pushover — try to strike that balance.
