After each one, evaluate your performance. Most systems provide the option of listening to the message you just left. Doing this as much as possible will improve your performance more than anything else. Would you save that voicemail? Would you return that call? Would you return that call right away? Are you missing the basics (alternative phone number, optimal ways to get in touch, a fall-back person to call)? Did you craft it or wing it?

Destination will say Incoming if someone called you, and Origin is where the call was placed from. If there is a city listed under Destination, it means you made the call (Outgoing) to that city, and Origin will be where you were when you placed the call. 1.“Hi! Thanks for calling [company name/your name]. Please leave a brief message and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Have a great day!”

We are hoping this can be done before the outgoing message is accidentally deleted.

So, leave "Call me back when you get this," at the door, and try, "Talk to you soon," "Thanks for your time," or a good old-fashioned, "Have a great day."

2. Be Unique. Your business is creative and different, so shouldn’t your voicemail be, too? Generic greetings like, “I’m away from my desk right now, but I really value your call.

You can also contact us by going to our website, [URL], and live-chatting or emailing us. If you'd like us to call you back, please leave your name and number after the tone."
You only have so much time to make a meaningful impression on your prospect. Stick to talking about the tangible benefits you can offer, and keep your language straightforward and accessible.

And also don’t forget to write down your message just in case you get too anxious and forget to say your name at the end of the message.
