Pro tip: Only use first names. People of authority call each other by their first name only. Using the contact’s full name or saying Mr./Ms. [last name] can make you seem less confident and important than the person you’re calling.
Nobody wants to play phone tag. Skip the back and forth by explicitly telling the caller to leave their name, number, and the best day(s) and time(s) to reach them. Your clients will appreciate you not wanting to waste their time.
Remember, you need real-world situations to prepare for the sales game. Role play with colleagues and friends to get honest feedback.
