They are filled with ‘um’s’ and ‘ah’s’, they ramble on and on, they leave no compelling reason for me to call back, and they almost always leave their number so fast that I have to listen to it two, three, sometimes four times to make it out!

Some systems will give you the option to playback/re-record your message, as well as mark it urgent etc. On your Android device, open the Google Voice app . At the top left, tap Menu. Settings. Reading from a note will help you say what you want without any hiccups or interruptions. Call the person and keep your notes in hand. Once you’re in recording mode, read out from the note to sound as professional as possible.
