Something along the lines of, "You have reached the answering service of . I am unfortunately unable to take your call at this time, however if you leave a message after the tone I will return your call as soon as I have an opportunity.". That's about a 12 second message if spoken in a slow and calm fashion. The message that this article advises is about 4 seconds.
First, go to the "Phone" app on your iOS device and go to the Voicemail tab. Then, select the voicemail that you want to save and tap on the "Share" button."
Open the file you want to store.Tap Select, the file name and then Organize, which looks like a little folder.Under “On My [Device name],” choose a folder or tap the icon of a folder with a plus sign to create a new one.Tap Copy and you’re done.
Remember that the speed of your words can negatively impact your message as well. "If you have to rush to get a message into the amount of time allotted for a voicemail message, you’re saying too much," DeCesare advises. "Say less and slow down. If someone is listening to your voicemail greeting it's only because they intend to leave you a message. Don't make them listen to 3 minutes of rambling in order to do so. Plus, you're more likely to deliver a clean, professional read if you stick to shorter greetings. If more specific information is needed, direct callers to where they can find it on your website.
If you want to add another condition to your rule, select Add condition. You can add multiple conditions to a rule but do this judiciously so your rules don't become overly complex.

For example, when leaving a voicemail you could say, "You can give me a call back at XYZ-1234. I am typically available Monday through Friday from 9 am to 3 pm. I look forward to hearing from you." This lets your contact know exactly when they can reach you to continue the conversation.
I bet you’re not anything close to a “babbling idiot” when leaving a voicemail, but I understand, and until I put the following practices into everyday use, I too felt like I wasn’t showcasing my best self when leaving messages.
